Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Treatment
Access exceptional care for non-small cell lung cancer at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our cancer center was one of the nation’s first NCI-designated cancer centers, and—for more than 50 years—we’ve been a leader in the research, diagnosis and treatment of over 200 types of cancer.
We provide immunotherapies and targeted therapies. In addition, our patients can talk to our team about opportunities to participate in early-stage clinical trials, where they can receive the latest treatments long before they are available anywhere else.
At Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center, our research is on the leading edge of life-changing studies and advancements in cancer treatments. Together we work to advance clinical and translational research to accelerate the pace at which discoveries become the treatments and therapies that benefit patients. Our teams have studied different uses of pretreatment positron emission tomography (PET) scans. These scans can be used to identify lesions at risk for progression, after concurrent chemoradiation therapy, for locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer. We have also studied FLT3 ligand immunotherapy for patients with non-small cell lung cancer that has progressed after standard treatment. Another active study at our cancer center is focused on developing novel T-cell-activating agents that target tumors with more precision and cause fewer side effects.
You can expect compassionate, personalized care that meets the highest standards for quality and safety. Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center’s non-small cell lung cancer treatment is one of the most comprehensive in the nation.
