Neuroblastoma Treatment

Finding cancer in its earliest stage offers the best chance of successful treatments. That’s why Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is passionate about cancer awareness, screenings and prevention, including providing education on the potential risks and benefits of neuroblastoma screenings and performing them when recommended at our NCI-designated center. Our pediatric oncology (cancer) programs at CHAM are nationally ranked for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report, providing exceptional care for children from the New York metropolitan area, across the nation and around the world.

Neuroblastoma is most often diagnosed in children before their first birthday. Though there is no standard or routine screening for neuroblastoma, certain screening tests may show signs of the condition. Clinical trials—like those at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center at CHAM—are currently studying neuroblastoma screening tests. Talk to your child’s doctor about the right screening tests for your child.

For more than 50 years, Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center has been a leader in the research, diagnosis and treatment of over 200 types of cancer. Turn to us for comprehensive cancer screening.
