That’s why Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is passionate about cancer awareness, screenings and prevention, including providing education on the potential risks and benefits of neuroblastoma screenings and performing them when recommended at our NCI-designated center. Neuroblastoma is most often diagnosed in children before their first birthday. Though there is no standard or routine screening for neuroblastoma, certain screening tests may show signs of the condition. Clinical trials—like those at Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center at CHAM—are currently studying neuroblastoma screening tests. Talk to your child’s doctor about the right screening tests for your child.
