Tumor Microenvironment & Metastasis Research Program
The tumor microenvironment and metastasis researchers at the NCI-designated Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center work to advance the world’s understanding of the role a cancer’s microenvironment plays in the development and spread of the disease. Through a better understanding of the microenvironment, our cancer scientists hope to gain greater insight into the risk of cancer progression and metastasis, contributing to improved patient care at our Cancer Center and beyond. The program members also work to develop new preventive and therapeutic treatments, leading to better clinical outcomes and life-saving treatments.
